"Mohamed Magramane: Al Ain University graduate's journey from Bachelor to PhD and academic excellence"

Mohamed Magramane, an Al Ain University graduate with a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2021) and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (2016), is now a Ph.D. student at UAE University. In an interview with the Alumni Office, he discussed his academic journey and how his education at Al Ain University has supported his professional career.

 

Mohamed Magramane is a graduate of Al Ain University, holds a master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2021 and a bachelor's degree in pharmacy in 2016, a doctoral student at the UAE University. In an interview with the alumni office about his academic career and how his studies at Al Ain University supported his educational career, he said: "I started my career in 2016 at Al Ain University, Al Ain City campus with a bachelor's degree in pharmacy. I graduated from The Bachelor's degree in 2021 and then continued my education at Al Ain University in the master's program in Pharmaceutical Sciences. my master's career was divided between the two campuses, Al Ain and Abu Dhabi. Al Ain University means a lot to me, as I started there as a young man at the age of 17 and finished after a long path of 7 years with a master's degree. During these years, I have lived through several situations that make the University and university life at Al Ain University a key influencer in the development of my professional, scientific and social personality, from voluntary or sports university events, from daily interaction with students and the acadimic and administrative staff, and through educational contents that gave me the latest and most accurate medical information, scientific books and the experiences of faculty members and specialists in the health sector, whether inside or outside the UAE."

 

About his professional journey and development, Magramane emphasized his focus on academic research. starting from being a young man without a future plan and no clear-oriented path to a young man preparing to get hid PhDs at UAE University and my research focus on nanotechnology, cancer and its treatment, and this is the result of continuous guidance and support from the family of Al Ain University and especially from the advisors of my Master: Dr. Arshad Mahmood and Dr. Mohammad Fawzi bustanuddin.
