I am Esraa Fahad Al-Hosani, holder of a Master's degree in Public Business Administration from Al Ain University of Science and Technology. I currently serve as the Head of the Training and Development Department, and I have a great passion for developing competencies and building effective teams. I constantly strive to achieve the best results through continuous learning, self-development, and designing innovative training programs that meet institutional needs. I believe that great achievements start with small steps, and that determination and dedication are the keys to success in any field.
Tell us about your academic journey. What does Al Ain University mean to you?
My academic journey began with a passion for understanding the principles of business management and human resource development, which led me to pursue my higher education at Al Ain University. The university was not just an academic institution but a stimulating environment that encouraged critical thinking, leadership skill development, and the application of theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios. Al Ain University was a true turning point in my journey, giving me the confidence and ambition to continue my professional and academic development.
What is your career experience and professional growth? I started my career in the field of human resources development and training, gradually progressing in roles and responsibilities until I became the Head of the Training and Development Department. During this time, I designed and implemented training programs that contributed to enhancing employee efficiency and improving institutional performance. I also focused on building training partnerships with local and international entities, which facilitated the exchange of expertise and the adoption of best practices in competency development within the organization.
Why did you choose your major? What are your future ambitions?
I chose to study Public Business Administration out of a passion for understanding modern management strategies and developing human capital, which plays a vital role in driving positive change within organizations. In the future, I aspire to contribute to creating motivating and innovative work environments, developing the skills of future leaders, and participating in the design of training programs that enhance institutional performance.

I make sure to allocate time for each aspect of my life—work, family, and study—while maintaining mental and physical well-being. Leveraging modern technologies and planning tasks in advance have helped me fulfill my duties efficiently without compromising my personal quality of life.

Among my key achievements is the design and execution of successful training programs that directly contributed to employee development. I also established strategic partnerships with local and international institutions, which helped enhance the quality of training programs and facilitate knowledge exchange. I have received multiple commendations and recognitions from the organization for my contributions to improving training strategies and achieving tangible results in institutional performance.
