An introductory Tour to the Mawaheb talent hub (Department of Government Enablement) - Supporting Graduates Towards Professional Success
The alumni office, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized an introductory tour to the Mawaheb talent hub (Department of Government Enablement). This trip comes within the professional development series that the alumni office is working on to enhance the skills of students and graduates and guide them towards appropriate career opportunities. The expected graduating students and graduates participated in the Field tour as part of the "Tamouh" initiative, which aims to support job seekers by introducing them to the Mawaheb services and enabling them to acquire the necessary skills for the labor market.
The Mawaheb talent hub is the first hub in Abu Dhabi specialized in employment support, as it seeks to qualify national competencies and meet the needs of the labor market in the UAE. The Mawaheb focuses on enhancing productive and professional skills, and provides proactive services that meet the aspirations of employers and keep pace with the requirements of future jobs.
The "Tamouh" initiative is an important stop for new graduates, as it provides them with a field tour of the facilities of the Mawaheb, and provides them with an introductory presentation about the hub and the services provided. The initiative also enables graduates to register on the "Tamm" platform, which facilitates access to career opportunities in the local labor market.
Amal Ahmed, The alumni office manager in Abu Dhabi Campus, said: "the initiative to visit the Mawaheb is one of the most important initiatives organized by the office within the annual professional development series. This initiative is of particular importance in introducing graduates and prospective graduates to the most important professional development services provided by the hub, and how to help them get a job and develop their professional path."
This tour prepares graduates to enter the job market with confidence, by introducing them to the opportunities available and providing them with the necessary tools to achieve their career ambitions. It also comes as part of the alumni office's ongoing efforts to support students and graduates through the annual professional development series.
