Pharmacy & Nutrition Career Day Supports Students and Alumni Career Readiness
The College of Pharmacy, Abu Dhabi Campus, successfully organized the Pharmacy & Nutrition Career Day, bringing together students, graduates, alumni, healthcare professionals, and industry representatives to explore career opportunities and professional development pathways in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
The event opened with career talks delivered by Dr. Rasha Abu-Ali from the Department of Health (DOH) and Dr. Rania El Lababidi from Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. The talks were followed by an engaging panel discussion that offered participants valuable insights into training opportunities, career progression, and the key skills required to succeed in the healthcare field.
The Career Exhibition featured the participation of several leading healthcare and pharmaceutical organizations, including ADCAN Pharma, AIGenome, Al Manara Pharmacy, Althiqa Pharmacy, Avernus Pharma, Boehringer Ingelheim, Burjeel Holdings, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Delta Medical Laboratories, Leader Healthcare, Medicina Pharmacy, Pharma Plus, PRA Consultancy, Prestige Group of Pharmacies, SebaMed, Tabuk Pharmaceuticals, and Triangle.
Participating organizations engaged directly with attendees, providing information about employment opportunities, internships, professional training programs, and career development initiatives. Several organizations also conducted on-the-spot interviews, giving participants direct access to potential recruitment opportunities.
In addition, the Department of Government Enablement – Mawahib and the AAU Alumni Office provided CV review and interview preparation support, helping students and alumni enhance their employability skills and professional readiness.
The event attracted more than 100 students and alumni, reflecting the College’s commitment to supporting career readiness, strengthening industry connections, and preparing future healthcare professionals for success in the job market.
